By downloading, installing, or using Collected Notes ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Alfajor LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), located at 2108 N St Ste N, Sacramento, CA 95816 US.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years old.

You are solely responsible for all content you create, record, or store using the App.
Recording laws vary by jurisdiction. Some locations require all-party consent before recording a conversation. You are responsible for understanding and complying with the recording laws in your jurisdiction. We are not responsible for any legal consequences resulting from your use of the recording features.
The App, including its design, features, and code, is owned by Alfajor LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.
You retain full ownership of all content you create using the App. Your recordings, transcriptions, and notes belong to you.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate.
Transcription and AI-generated summaries may contain errors. You should review all output for accuracy before relying on it for important decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alfajor LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of the App.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for backing up your data. We are not responsible for any data loss.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alfajor LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party, including but not limited to recording laws and privacy rights.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Upon uninstallation, all data stored by the App on your device will be deleted.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.
We provide support via email at [email protected]. While we strive to respond promptly, we do not guarantee specific response times or resolution of all issues. Support is provided on a reasonable efforts basis.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make good faith efforts to resolve any issue within 30 days.
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
You agree to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations, including U.S. Export Administration Regulations and sanctions programs administered by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). You represent that you are not located in, or a resident of, any country subject to U.S. trade sanctions.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Alfajor LLC regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
