Alfajor LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates Collected Notes, a voice recording and transcription app. This Privacy Policy explains our commitment to your privacy and describes how we handle your information.

We don't collect your data. Collected Notes is designed with privacy at its core. All your recordings, transcriptions, and content stay on your device. We have no servers storing your information, no accounts to create, and no way to access your data—because it never leaves your phone.

Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including encryption and biometric authentication if enabled.
By default, Collected Notes does not share data with third parties because we don't have access to your data. The app is designed to function completely offline.
Apple Services: The app uses Apple's on-device speech recognition. While this processing occurs locally on your device, it is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. No audio data is sent to Apple when using on-device recognition.
Optional Cloud AI: If you choose to enable optional cloud AI features (such as OpenAI or Anthropic Claude), your transcription data will be sent to those services for processing. These features are entirely opt-in, clearly labeled, and disabled by default. When enabled, your use is subject to their respective privacy policies.
Collected Notes does not use cookies, web beacons, or any other tracking technologies. We do not track your usage or behavior within the App.
Collected Notes is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the App. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the App, please contact us.
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. However, because Collected Notes does not collect, store, or process any personal data on our servers, most traditional data rights (such as access, correction, or deletion requests) are not applicable to us.
You have complete control over your data on your device. You can view, modify, export, or delete any content at any time directly within the App.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with specific rights regarding your personal information.
We do not sell or share your personal information. Because Collected Notes does not collect personal information, we have no data to sell or share with third parties. We do not use your information for targeted advertising or profiling.
